How this package works: (be sure to read before downloading!)

• This is a bittorrent release, meaning you must use a torrent client. If you're on windows, I highly recommend uTorrent. Mac users can take a pick of uTorrent Mac or Transmission. If you're on linux, grab rtorrent (rutorrent for your webui!).
  
• Please seed this for as long as you can. Even if you download just a couple videos, please keep this in your torrent client as long as you can. If everyone removed it the day after it finished downloading, this project would die out almost instantly; and that can't happen. So please, leave it seeding as long as humanly possible; even if it's not uploading anything.
  
• Even though we have over 2000mbps of bandwidth from the multiple people that will be seeding, because most of this is located in Europe, download speeds may not be ideal; at least until the swarm size increases. So please bear with us. If you choose to download an entire games worth of videos, it will take many hours, or days, to complete.
  
• Every now and then, a project releases their videos in 1080P. Because of this preference, I've included "optional 1080P" folders for every video that counts. There will be the normal 720P version, and inside this folder, will be an identical 1080P version of that same video. Simply check the 1080P folder if you want to download these ultra-high quality versions. Each game has their own 1080P folder.
  
• Last but not least, ENABLE PROTOCOL ENCRYPTION! I've had tests where people have had problems downloading this torrent (due to ISP throttling or other factors), and enabling encryption made them download much, much quicker! This guide, while outdated (your client will look different than the pictures, still is a good tutorial. If you still can't figure it out, Google "enable encryption x" where "x" is the client you're using.

So as you probably guessed from my clever username, I work for GameStop. I've been popping around these boards answering questions about Halo Fest, but I wanted to make sure you all saw this cool feature on the site  - Speak Up and Command Attention.

During the beta, I was playing a match of slayer with the jet pack, raining down death on all beneath me. An enemy player decides to fly up to take me out, and unfortunately for him, finds out what my secondweaponis the hard way. As he and I are flying towards each other, I pull out my gravity hammer. At this point, he knows there is nowhere he can run because he had begun his descent and his jet pack wasn't mobile enough to move him out of my path. As my hammer comes crashing down on his skull, his body plummets straight to the canal beneath me in a grand splash. Quick and brutal.

Here are a few updates on what is going on behind the expensive boardroom doors at HRF:

• Donations
• New Internet Reporter
• Tournament system install

Donations:
Anyone who has visited this site in the last couple of days has noticed a rather large yellow button at the top left hand corner proclaiming 'DONATE'. I feel, as a responsible website admin and person who generally enjoys the internet, that I should inform you of why, exactly that is there.
Simply put, it's to join the Awesome Squad, the special people at HRF who have helped supply the prizes for our fabulous tournaments.
First and foremost, Halo Reach Forum will continue to operate as normal. Becoming a donator gives the member only three things: a feeling of being awesome, a special emblem on their profile, which will show up on the post page, and having your name included when I send out prizes ("This prize has been supported by the HRF Awesome Squad," followed by list of donors). As time progresses, and depending on reception, I may institute a special donators forum and other exciting stuff.
All donations will go directly to this website. As much as evil me is saying to take this money and buy me a new Aston Martin with it, it doesn't seem very fair, does it?
Prizes for tournaments, contests, and other events of a various nature. (vast majority will fall into this category)
Website upgrades, like new themes and forum software.
At this time, those are the only two things I can envision using the donations for.
How To Join The Awesome Squad
Click donate. Pay through PayPal. Email admin@haloreachforum.net with the amount you sent, your HRF username, and your PayPal e-mail address so I can add you to our list of Awesome Squad Members. HRF loses some of your money to pay for the corporate overlords at PayPal to have fancy cars.
Send payment to admin@techinhiding.com . This is our PayPal account, and this way, we don't get as big of a fee taken out.
Send me a check/cash. If you don't like PayPal, just PM or email me and I will give you the mailing address.
New Internet Reporter
Bowe seems to be the first to find new content on Reach. As such, I have appointed him to the position of Internet Reporter Extraordinaire. He now has the ability to post his articles to the front page for all to see. Additionally, I will give him access to our Twitter and Facebook pages so that he can post there.
Upcoming Update: Tournament/HRF Clan System
In anticipation for Reach, I will be installing a clan system to our website that will allow us to manage our tournaments, allow you to set up your own, and generally organize events. For an example of how our system will operate, check out this site: http://team-x1.co.uk/site/index.php?site=news . Profiles will operate independently of your HRF pages, but I will add an icon (next to the online icon) with a link to your profile that you will have to manually add.


Additional note: The mobile version for your cell phone (iPhone/Android/WinMo on Opera) has been fixed. Please let me know of any errors you encounter.
